Waste reduction and reuse
With the aim of optimizing the production chain, we also have the ability to identify processes to be eliminated in order to minimize waste.
Reusing waste and the circular economy are fundamental practices for promoting sustainability in different areas. Reusing discarded materials and products can reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill and contribute to reducing the ecological footprint. In addition, the circular economy aims to create systems in which resources are used more efficiently, reducing the consumption of natural resources.
Due to the climate crisis, the need to adopt practices associated with the circular economy, an approach that aims to create systems in which resources are used more efficiently, reducing the extraction of new natural resources and the production of waste, can be a tool for creating new value chains.
Practical examples of this are, for industry, the use of waste as a raw material for the production of new products, or in agriculture, with the use of organic waste as fertilizer. These practices make it possible to reduce investment and/or create new sources of income for the company.
The implementation of these principles in all verticals of the company allows for the creation of a culture of optimization and continuous improvement, with a view to reducing environmental impact, while at the same time promoting the creation of new sources of income for the company.
